This moment matters.
It’s the moment of uncertainty.
The moment of being conflicted.
The moment of fear.
The moment of feeling burdened.
You have prayed for this moment to pass. You have sought escape and relief. It feels like a never ending cycle of defeat.
But this is your defining moment. The choices you make in this season of your life are going to determine the trajectory of your life in the next season.
So while you still have this moment, take your stand for Jesus!
Double down on your commitment to Him.
Choose Him and His path of wisdom every day.
Do whatever it takes to remain a person of integrity.
Earnestly plead with God that He would enable you to honor Him during this period of your life.
And through it all, stay connected! You must not go at this alone. Stay connected with like minded believers who are also pursuing godly integrity. Share your struggles with them. Give and receive encouragement. Give and receive prayer. Together, you can faithfully endure this time of testing.
"See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness." Hebrews 3:12–13 (NIV)
When this moment passes, your efforts will have been worth it. Your integrity will have been worth it. Your choices in this time of difficulty can prepare you for the good that is to come, but it’s up to you. Don’t waste your pain. Don’t waste this opportunity. Fear God and keep His commandments!
"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize."
